More
Some more, not as death realted

A sorta depressing poem...

She heard him coming towards her,
Erriely dressed in forbidding black.
She stood, rooted on the spot,
As she watched in vain.

She could hear her heart beating,
Faster than a herd of bolting horses
Her breathing became shorter, and sharper
For she knew this was the end.

Her life flashed before her eyes,
A myriad of memories each one unique.
Seconds took years to pass,
Her soul...ebbing away.

She heard no bird song,
As she took her last breath.
She felt no warmth… no despair,
Simply resignation.

I'd like to thank all those who critted my poem on www.steelsings.com/forum/
especially thegreenolive and Domino and Rhiannon. Thankees.
Also like to thank my friend Jam who also helped me write the poem....
