More
Some more, not as death realted

I orginally wrote this poem to enter into a competition..

You held on to me,

When I felt like letting go.

You stuck by me,

When things couldn’t have been worse.

You gave me breath,

So I could live.

You helped me through the hardships,

In my time of need.

You saved me,

When I needed saving.

You wouldn’t let go,

You wouldn’t say no.

The scars have faded,

Over time,

The pain still remains,

But I feel free.

I have wings,

To fly again.

To soar through the sky,

And truly smile.

Once again.

My friend.
